Working for some of the largest construction companies in the world, the three founding partners of 3b construction ltd, Iain, Stuart and Graeme Barr, have been involved on a huge range of important projects both in the UK and abroad.
Now married and at varying stages of family life, finding the right work-life balance has become ever more important.
The idea to establish a construction company and new house builder in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland came about through a desire to create a quality of life that combined the most attractive aspects of rural and urban living.
The need to build new homes in Dumfries & Galloway brings with it great responsibility for new house builders. The challenge of ensuring minimal environmental impact whilst enhancing and regenerating the existing built environment has proved a massive lure for the brothers.
